Originally a branch of the North Staffordshire Railway, this 4.5 mile surfaced path along the old route offers a perfect place for cyclists of all abilities to take in the natural splendour of the area.

The Caldon Canal runs through the heart of the Staffordshire Moorlands, creating a 17-mile route of outstanding beauty, connecting Froghall to the Trent and Mersey Canal in Stoke-on-Trent.
Canal towpaths offer a great opportunity for cyclists to go with the flow, enjoying traffic-free opportunities.
Encounter wildlife, greet fellow travellers, and get to meet the canal community, from barge owners moored at the heritage wharfs to those taking a break at the public houses located along the way.
