Car Parks

There is ample car parking availability in Leek, Biddulph and Cheadle, operated by Staffordshire Moorlands District Council

Car park ticket machines accept 5p, 10p, 20p, 50p, £1 and £2 coins and do not give change.

Card payments accepted via the pay and display machines.

You can also pay for parking in all council owned car parks via the PayByPhone application.

Charging days: Monday to Saturday (free on Sundays and public holidays)

Season tickets allow you to park without paying at the time. General season tickets are available as 3, 6 or 12 monthly permits. If you are a regular user of the Moorlands car parks you may save money if you buy a season ticket. 

Cost of season tickets 3 months - £105, 6 months - £200, 12 months - £390

Leek - Angle Street, Brook Street, Buxton Road (Earl Street), High Street. Joliffe Street, Market Place, Market Street East and West, Moorlands House, Queen Street, Regent Street, Silk Street, Smithfield South, Stockwell Street, St Edward Street, Vicarage Road. The Smithfield North car park in Leek is a permit holder car park offering parking for an annual charge of £370.

Biddulph -Wharf Road, 8am to 6pm.

Cheadle - Tape Street & Well Street, 8am – 6pm.

Blue Badge holders

Staffordshire Moorlands District Council offers free parking for Blue Badge holders. Please park within the bay marking lines and display your Blue Badge clearly on the dashboard.

If using a short stay car park, please display the clock set at the time of arrival next to the Blue Badge and ensure that you do not exceed the maximum stay of the car park. If there are no Blue Badge holder bays available, you can use the standard parking bays which are a little narrower.
