Consall Valley Lodge
With 16 individually designed en-suite bedrooms, dining rooms accommodating up to 30 guests, spacious lounge with fully functioning bar and well-equipped kitchen, this luxurious lodge nestled in the tranquil surroundings of Consall Valley is designed for family gatherings, parties of friends and corporate events.
The indoor games room at Consall Valley Lodge has a bar, pool table, foosball table, large screen tv and comfortable seating, while outside guests can enjoy the two hot tubs, sun terrace and heated pavilion, all with stunning views of the surrounding woodlands and lakes.
Peak Venues
The Green Man, Bottomhouse, Near Leek
Located at the amusingly named Bottomhouse between Leek and Ashbourne, The Green Man is an authentic country coaching inn, offering hotel style accommodation. Available to hire for exclusive use as self-catering accommodation this unique party space has inspiring views of the Peak District. It has 13 bedrooms and 11 bathrooms/ ensuites and can sleep up to 25.
You can stock the bar with local ale to pull your own pints, and there’s a fabulous garden space for outdoor activities too.
Crewe & Harpur, Longnor
Enjoy exclusive use of your own converted village pub! The Crewe and Harpur occupies a fabulous position right in the middle of the old market square of the Peak District village of Longnor. Surrounding the square, there’s a popular fish and chip shop, village shop, local pub and cafe/tearoom.
This venue is perfect for large groups needing lots of space for dining, socialising or even working together and has 17 boutique style bedrooms, 14 bathrooms/ensuites and can accommodate 34 guests. Three additional ground floor bedrooms are offered in courtyard cottages. Outside, there is outdoor furniture, and two large oil drum BBQs are available for use from April until the end of October.
Lapwing Barns Longnor
This large, self-catering converted barn has stunning rural views and is a great choice for large group getaways. The open plan living areas provide plenty of communal spaces to socialise together under one roof.
Just a few metres across the gravelled drive, what was once an old cow shed is now a games room with a pool table, table tennis, table football and kitchenette. Two miles from Lapwing Barns is the pretty village of Longnor.
Oak Tree Farm Longnor
This is a traditional style farmhouse nestled in a secluded rural position offering 11 individually designed bedrooms accommodating up to 30 guests. An eco-friendly Scandinavian style woodfired hot tub makes the most of the uninterrupted, far-reaching views of the Peak District. Just a short drive from Leek, Oak Tree Farm is tucked away at the end of a long drive, with stunning landscapes and mature gardens.
Redhurst Barn
This converted stone barn, in the pretty village of Wetton, is part of the Chatsworth Estate and offers a fantastic countryside location with popular Peak District walks nearby. A cost-effective venue for smaller, more informal groups Redhurst Barn also offers the option of designing your own stay with added services.
Peak Occasions
Mermaid - Thorncliffe
The Mermaid Inn is an historic Grade II listed 17th century coaching inn with a stunning moorland location, offering breath-taking views of the Roaches and the Cheshire plain. It has been tastefully restored and blends modern comforts with local stone and oak beams, with parts of the house dating back to 1651.
The market town of Leek is just 10 minutes away, not to mention lots of endless walking opportunities nearby - including the famous Blakemere pool, scene of the only inland mermaid legend in the UK.
The Mermaid features an impressive 11 metre dining table, which seats all 34 guests and ample lounge space with a wood burning stove. All 13 bedrooms have ensuite facilities. There’s a large garden area with picnic benches, barbecue, and stunning views. Chefs will be delighted with the fully equipped kitchen boasting high quality appliances.
Quarnford Lodge – Quarnford
Quarnford Lodge is in the heart of the Peak District National Park near to the village of Flash, the highest village in England, and has fantastic views over Dove Head. This is a stunning house for a get together, with all accommodation and living space under one roof.
The highlight is a vaulted dining room complete with chandelier and minstrel’s gallery, and comfortable seating for all guests around a single table. All rooms are ensuite.
There are walks from the door, including the famous Three Shires Head, where the counties of Derbyshire, Staffordshire, and Cheshire meet with a waterfall and bridge.
