Staffordshire Day 10th Anniversary 2026 logoStaffordshire’s biggest party of the year, Staffordshire Day, is back on Friday 1st May 2026 with a packed programme of active, adventurous and fun events and activities to celebrate our beautiful, historic, and welcoming county.

Celebrating the 10th Anniversary of Staffordshire’s biggest party

In 2026 Staffordshire Day is 10, so this year will be even bigger and better than ever!

We’re not just celebrating the anniversary of our most famous son, Josiah Wedgwood, and the recognition of Staffordshire in the Magna Carta.

Our tenth Staffordshire Day is about helping people to discover the places and stories which makes our county different, welcoming and full of heart.

And at the centre of it all, is ‘Staffy’ our new mascot for Staffordshire, inspired by the Staffordshire Bull Terrier. He’s active, adventurous and fun, loyal, hardworking and strong – everything that Staffordshire and Staffordshire people are. He’ll be out and about helping everyone discover Staffordshire.
