10 Things to Do for Easter 2026

From Easter egg hunts and fun family trails to full-on thrills at our world-renowned theme parks, there's so much to see, do, taste and experience in Staffordshire this Easter that you'll need more than a day to enjoy it all. 

1. Alton Towers Resort 

There is always lots to do at Alton Towers Resort!  Ride well-loved favourites Oblivion, Rita and Wicker Man, not to mention the legendary Nemesis: Reborn and the family fun of CBeebies Land, where the brand new Bluey coaster 'Here Come The Grannies!' opens 28th March!

2. Drayton Manor Resort 

Celebrate Easter at Drayton Manor Resort, home to more than 50 exciting rides and attractions, Europe's only Thomas Land, and an EGG-stra special Easter, featuring the Care Bears' Spring Celebration from 28th March to 19th April. 

3. The Trentham Estate 

There's always egg-citing things going on at Trentham Estate with the brand new Snoopy Trail, featuring 12 gigantic sculptures to discover, shows, face painting, rides and stalls, plus the Spring Bulb Festival, Lambing Live, the behind-the-scenes Farmers Experience, and free family Snoopy-related fun in the Shopping Village from 28th March.

4. Churnet Valley Railway 

Join the Mad Hatter's Tea Party onboard a steam train at Churnet Valley Railway, and enter the world of Lewis Carroll's Alice in Wonderland, with the Queen of Hearts, Cheshire Cat, face painters, meet and greets, as well as Royal treats and a delightful cup of tea (or juice for non-tea drinkers). 

5. Weston Park 

Easter at Weston Park means the brand new Down the Rabbit Hole Easter Trail, plus the return of vintage and classic cars for the popular Easter Motor Show, outdoor activities like bike rides and zip wires for the kids, and the chance to enjoy a picnic in the vast gardens and Capability Brown parkland. 

6. Lower Drayton Farm 

There's some egg-stra special surprises at Lower Drayton Farm, with Eenie Beanie Bunny, the new Tulip Field, and a huge new Easter Egg Hunt. Plus there are farm animals, trailer rides, Easter Bunny Selfies and much more.

7. World of Wedgwood 

The Clay Club is back at World of Wedgwood for the Easter holidays, featuring pottery painting, children's factory tours, and hands-on fun at the potter's wheel, along with the all-new play space in the heart of the V&A Wedgwood Collection, with interactive games, costumes, and a model factory.

8. National Memorial Arboretum 

The Easter fun is all about Albie the Owl at the National Memorial Arboretum. There's something for all ages including Arbie's i-Spy: Spring Trail, Making Music Workshops, and Drop-In Arts and Crafts - not to mention the Stick Man Outdoor Trail.

9. McArthurGlen West Midlands

Celebrate the 5th anniversary of McArthurGlen West Midlands in Cannock, with Easter Bunny Meet & Greets, the Doodle Cube Trail, and their Easter Event offering extra savings on top of outlet prices.

10. Peak Wildlife Park

Explore the new capybara walk-through at Peak Wildlife Park and meet their new arrivals Clementine and Marmalade, before tackling the Spring into the Wild Trail with fun challenges, puzzles, and hands-on craft activities.
