Welcome to the Staffy Trail — a paw-sitively joyful celebration of Staffordshire!
Follow Staffy's Next Adventure at Trentham
Set off on a trail from 1 August to 18 September 2026 and discover eight colourful Staffy sculptures as you explore the beautiful gardens, lakeside walks and hidden corners of The Trentham Estate.
Each Staffy is lovingly designed by talented local artists and schoolchildren, inspired by the people, places and pride of Staffordshire, and has its own unique personality and story to tell.
From local landmarks and cultural traditions to the people and communities that shape the region, every sculpture offers a new reason to stop, look closer and celebrate Staffordshire and Stoke-on-Trent's rich heritage.
The Staffy Trail is included with standard Trentham Gardens admission and is free for Trentham members.
What is the Staffy Trail?
Originally created to celebrate 10 years of Staffordshire Day, the Staffy Trail invited visitors to explore Stoke-on-Trent , Stafford and Tamworth in a fun and colourful way.
The trail quickly became one of the county's most popular attractions, bringing communities together and encouraging people to see the county from a fresh perspective.
This adventure reached a tail-wagging finale at Weston Park, where hundreds of Staffordshire Bull Terriers and their owners came together for the Big Staffy Stroll, creating one of the biggest ever walks celebrating Staffordshire's iconic breed.
Now, the excitement continues at Trentham, giving visitors another chance to meet some of the regions most-loved Staffys. Set around Trentham's beautiful lakeside, the next chapter of the StaffyTrail combines colourful creativity, family fun and picture-perfect views in a spectacular new setting.

The fun doesn't stop with the trail. Take time to browse Trentham's vibrant Shopping Village, enjoy a treat in one of the estate's many cafés and restaurants, and soak up the beautiful surroundings. With plenty of opportunities to stop, smile and maybe even 'paws' for a photo, it's the perfect addition to a day out at the Trentham Estate.
