How your Business can support Staffordshire Day

Staffordshire Day is the day we celebrate everything we love about our county. Every year on May 1st, Staffordshire comes alive with events, activities, competitions and special offers for our residents and visitors to experience.

In 2026, Staffordshire marks 10 years of Staffordshire Day, celebrating the county’s culture creativity, attractions and sense of pride. To bring this milestone to life, a programme of events will take place across Staffordshire and Stoke-on-Trent, showcasing what makes the county distinctive, welcome and full of heart.

Be a part of the Staffy Squad

At the centre of the 2026 event is Staffordshire’s mascot - ‘Staffy’ inspired by the Staffordshire Bull Terrier. He’s active, adventurous and fun, loyal, hardworking and strong – everything that Staffordshire is!

As part of the celebrations, The Staffy Trail will launch and getting involved in The Staffy Trail means that you’re part of a simple, proven model to that will put your local business or visitor experience front and centre.
