In March this year, Capital&Centric announced plans for the exciting new Urban Quarter in Stoke-on-Trent next to the main train station.
The plans will involve a transformation of the city centre site, with around 180 new homes, a 150-bed hotel, 25,000 sq ft of workspaces and 10,000 sq ft of retail and leisure space.
It will be opened up to the public as a workspace and leisure venue that will be known as Vaults Warehouse.
On Wednesday 23rd June, we hosted a webinar with Co Founder of Capital&Centric, Tim Heatley to discuss the development with Leader of Stoke-on-Trent City Council, Councillor Abi Brown.
The event showed ideas and images of how the site could look including the latest CGI drawings for the warehouse.
Cllr Brown kicked off the event:"This is a mixed use site that we'd like to bring forward"

Tim Heatley, introduced Capital&Centric: "We're a social impact property developer, so we want to do things that leave a positive impact on the community"
Tim discussed the mixture of new build and restoration and combining the two which is something that will be done at the Goods Yard in Stoke.
When discussing the partnership with Stoke-on-Trent City Council, Tim said "We have a lot of shared vision, ideas and aspirations.. which for us is really important"
Capital&Centric hope to start construction on the warehouse in the next 12 months, following planning permission, community consultation and design.
