Flooring supplier Harrison Carpets has moved into a bigger premises after a year of 'substantial growth.'
For 18 years, the retailer has operated out of four separate units on Westmill Street on the Joiners Square Industrial Estate in Stoke-on-Trent.
But now the family-run business has relocated to a larger 6,124 sq ft unit on Leek Road, Hanley.
Sandyford Properties – which owns the industrial estate – offered Harrison Carpets a new base after hearing about the company's plans to expand.
Emma Lonczyk, director of Harrison Carpets Ltd, said: "We've grown so rapidly, despite the pandemic and Sandyford Properties have supported us every step of the way.
"When looking to expand our business, the team gave us a selection of options that would best suit our needs.
"A prominent main road location was imperative for us as our business does not have a website, so we rely on enquires from word-of-mouth recommendations."
Emma added: "The team at Sandyford Properties were extremely supportive in the move, allowing us to transfer our stock and infrastructure to the new facility over a matter of weeks, alleviating any pressure.
"They helped us to find the perfect location, collaborating with us closely to understand the business' needs."
Hanley-based Sandyford Properties owns a wide range of commercial properties in North Staffordshire and beyond including Trentham Trade Park and Business Quarter, City Park Trading Estate in Fenton and Mount Industrial Estate in Stone.
Managing director Paul Brindley said: "We're pleased to have Harrison Carpets Ltd as a long-standing occupier. The relationship we have with Emma and the team is second-to-none, and we will endeavour to support their family business and accommodate their growth in the future."
He added: "We've invested heavily in growing our business this year. We wouldn’t have been able to do that had it not been for the excellent relationships we have with our occupiers. Most stay with us long term and we truly appreciate that."
