Staffordshire has been represented in the list of winners for the prestigious Queen’s Awards for Enterprise 2020. The Queen’s Award is recognised as the highest award for businesses that are operating within the United Kingdom, highlighting companies that excel in international trade, innovation or sustainable development.
Stoke-on-Trent’s Churchill China was among the winners of the esteemed award, achieving honours in the international trade category. The listed company reported a revenue increase of £10million in 2019 – up to £67.5million from £57.5million (2018).
Stafford-based Addmaster (UK) has won its third Queen's Award, this time in the innovation category. The company is celebrating its hat-trick of honours on its 20th birthday, and has also recently reported record sales for 2019.
Addmaster (UK) develops performance-enhancing additives for the plastic, paper, textile, paints and coatings industry, and has been recognised for its technology to improve hygiene and preserve the environment by encouraging safer use of reusable products.
