Commercial buildings totalling more than 50,000 sq ft have been proposed for an established business park in Staffordshire.
LCP Properties has lodged plans to build four units on land to the west of Cannock Road in Burntwood.
The application site, representing zone 3 of Burntwood Business Park, was previously occupied by a range of industrial units which were demolished more than four years ago.
LCP's plans consist of three structures for warehousing with ancillary trade counter/showroom use and one for warehousing or general industrial.
A statement lodged with Lichfield District Council on behalf of the applicant said: "It is considered that given the nature of the proposed use and it representing a redevelopment of an existing industrial site, the principle of the proposed high-quality industrial buildings is acceptable and in line with adopted local and national policy.
