Homeware maker Portmeirion Group has confirmed it has achieved a tenth consecutive year of record revenue after its earnings surged towards the £90m mark.
New figures for the year to 31 December 2018 have revealed that the Stoke-on-Trent-headquartered listed manufacturer achieved a revenue of £89.6m, up from £84.8m, while its pre-tax profits also rose from £8.8m to £9.7m.
The company's EBITDA also increased 7.5 per cent from £11m to £11.8m over the same period.
In an update to the London Stock Exchange, the business added that it had experienced "strong progress" in the UK, US and South Korea while its home fragrance division, which is acquired in 2016, reported a growth in sales of 11.1 per cent.
Online sales also surged 24.4 per cent compared to the prior year.
Non-executive chairman Dick Steele said: "We are delighted to be reporting a tenth consecutive year of record revenue and another record profit before taxation. Our strategy and core values remain unchanged.
"We are focused on driving profitable sales growth through new product introduction, developing our markets, investing behind our brands and enhancing our operational capabilities and efficiency supported with complementary strategic acquisitions.
"We look forward into 2019 with confidence and at this very early stage of the year expect trading to be in line with expectations for the full year."
The company's brands include Portmeirion, Spode, Royal Worcester, Pimpernel and Wax Lyrical.
