Logistics firm, Palletforce is set to double its footprint in Burton-upon-Trent, after Goodman reveals plan to building a 260,000 sq ft distribution hub for the firm.

The new facility will be built next to Palletforce’s existing 379,000 sq ft distribution centre - on Goodman’s Centrum Business Park.

The two buildings will form Palletforce’s new national distribution centre and will become Europe’s largest palletised distribution hub, capable of processing more than 30,000 pallets. The new facility is due to be completed for mid-2017.

Goodman's Development Director, Nigel Dolan said: "We are very pleased to extend our relationship with Palletforce, to have the opportunity to develop this important new facility, and play a role in the continued growth of their network."
