New developments are being planned for Staffordshire business parks as the county looks to showcase investment opportunities to an international audience this week. Staffordshire County Council is focusing on supporting the creation of higher value jobs.

Investment opportunities in Staffordshire are being showcased at the international MIPIM event this week with new developments set to be announced at Redhill Business Park in Stafford and Kingswood Lakeside in Cannock. Both sites were developed by the county council and both are flourishing. Redhill is home to GEas new facility with construction of another under way, while Kingswood Lakeside has seen a number of recent developments with firms such as Veolia and HellermannTyton operating there.

County council economic growth leader Mark Winnington is hosting an event at MIPIM tomorrow to showcase developments in Staffordshire with Stafford Borough Council leader Patrick Farrington. Attendees for the event include International Trade Minister Greg Hands and Housing and Planning Minister Gavin Barwell. The Stoke-on-Trent and Staffordshire Local Enterprise Partnership is joining all of the Midlands LEPs at the event to demonstrate the ambitions of the Midlands Engine Strategy launched by the Government last week.
