Employers from across Staffordshire are being urged to share their views on what future training will be available in the area…
Research is currently being undertaken by Staffordshire County Council, Stoke-on-Trent City Council and Serco to determine skills gaps within the region’s business community. The partnership has launched a survey to investigate digital skills shortages that have been experienced by Staffordshire companies, and the types of training that may be required (both now and moving forward).
Feedback from the survey will be used to inform the area’s future skills strategy – helping to ensure that future training schemes are relevant and in-demand to Staffordshire.
Responses are being sought from a variety of Staffordshire-based organisations, ranging start-ups to well-stablished companies, and from every sector.
Staffordshire’s business community is a major stakeholder in the region’s skills strategy – benefiting from future training schemes – therefore the involvement of Staffordshire’s business community is paramount to a successful skills strategy for the region. The deadline for feedback is Friday 20th March 2020.
