Midlands-based commercial property developer, Morris Property have been commissioned to build a new manufacturing HQ for sister company, Morris Site Machinery. The move comes after planners gave the £6 million development, taking place at i54 South Staffordshire, the green light.
Work is expected to start shortly (11th November) at the 239-acre site - located on the boundary of South Staffordshire and Wolverhampton - delivering more than 60,000 sq. ft of manufacturing and office space. Morris Site Machinery will be in good company at the location, neighbouring Jaguar Land Rover on the high-tech business park.
When the 12-month building programme is complete, it will enable Morris Site Machinery to relocate from its existing base at Four Ashes, Wolverhampton, to the purpose-built base (three miles away). Having a number of renowned business parks in the region meant that Morris Site Machinery could remain local to the West Midlands, safeguarding jobs in the area.
New images released show a distinctive building, designed by DPS Architects, that will help Morris & Co. to expand their group at the prime central location (which boasts well-connected communication links). The growing site machinery company, Morris Site Machinery is distinguished for its SMC mobile lighting towers (sold worldwide) and range of other high-quality site equipment (including generators, welders, pumps and pressure washers).

Morris Property and Morris Site Machinery are both part of a Shrewsbury-based, fifth-generation family-ran group, Morris & Company. The company is celebrating its 150th anniversary this year.
