Iconic pottery manufacturer, Emma Bridgewater, has announced that it is investing £1 million and creating 70 additional jobs in Stoke-on-Trent.

In order to free up manufacturing space at the Lichfield Street factory, a new warehouse and customer service centre has been leased in Dewsbury Road, Fenton.

This move is only part of a three year plan which will see production increase by 40% to 45,000 pieces at the Lichfield Street site and improve dispatch times to its UK and overseas customers.

Emma said: “It is incredibly exciting to be expanding, creating 70 new, local employment opportunities and be a part of rebuilding the community around our factory.

“Our state-of-the art distribution centre will dramatically improve service to our customers and I couldn’t be more proud and pleased.”
